Solder Types I Use:

Solder

– Low Melt Solder: Low Melt Solder Alloy with a melting point of 176℉ (80℃) is perfect for quick removal of SMD components.

– Leaded Solder: Kester 24-6337-8806 245 No-Clean Flux Core Solder, 63/37 ratio, .015″ diameter, 1 lb. This is my preferred choice for most soldering tasks due to its reliability and ease of use.

The Hakko CHP 3-SA Heat-Dissipating Precision Tweezer is perfect for handling tiny components without causing heat damage.

Solder Paste

For repairing and reballing, I use Mechanic XG-50 (XG-500) Solder Paste. It offers great adhesion and electrical conductivity.

Flux:

NC-559-V2-TF

Good flux is essential for clean and effective solder joints. I use the NC-559-V2-TF flux, which is known for its excellent wetting properties and minimal residue.
